Villa Verde is one of three villas situated at Quintinha au Sol. This small development consists of three separate, self-contained villas, one of which is regularly used by the owners. The other two are furnished and finished to an exceptionally high standard with air conditioning. There is a pool and garage.They are newly built and privately owned. The villas are 300 metres directly above Santa Cruz and less than 10 minutes from the airport. There are spectacular views of the ocean and the Deserta Islands. Very often, on clear days, the neigbouring island of Porto Santo can be seen over and beyond Ponta Sao Lorenco, which is the eastern tip of the island. Gaula is only twenty minutes from the centre of Funchal.
The villas are ideally situated for walkers and golfers - the Gaula levada, which is at the eastern end of the "Levada dos Tornos", is less than 5 kilometres away and the two internationally famous golf courses, Palheiro and Santa da Serra, are both about 20 minutes by car.
